Southern Cross University Campuses

SCU has multiple campuses across Australia which include three main campuses in the Northern Rivers, at the Gold Coast and in Coffs Harbour where the University’s National Marine Science Centre is also located.

Southern Cross University Entry Requirement 

  • English Requirement: To be eligible for a higher education course at Southern Cross University, international students must achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, with no individual band score below 5.5. However, programs related to Teaching and Nursing demand a higher level of English proficiency, requiring minimum IELTS scores of 7.5 or 7.0, depending on each course.  
  • Academic Requirement: Normally, applicants are required to have completed Year 12 or equivalent. The minimum academic record varies, depending on each course.

Tuition fees vary depending on the specific course. However, as of 2024, the average annual tuition cost typically can range from $28,000 to $34,000.

Southern Cross Global Regional Scholarship 2024

Southern Cross Global Regional Scholarship values at up to $8,000 per year, applied for the entire duration of your study. This scholarship is open to all students who meet the admission requirements and will be studying at Lismore or Coffs Harbour campuses. Vice Chancellor's Academic Excellence (future student)

Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarship, valued at $8,000 per year, is available for any undergraduate or postgraduate program, including online eligible courses. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must surpass the minimum English and academic entry requirements for the program in which they are enrolling. Vice Chancellor’s International Diversification Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to celebrate the diversity of nations of students enrolling in Southern Cross University. Eligible international students can receive up to $8,000 per year if they apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Online study programs can also be considered for this scholarship. Destination Australia Scholarship

This scholarship offers a value of up to $15,000 per year and is available to onshore international students enrolling as full-time students at the Lismore, Coffs Harbour, or National Marine Science campuses. To retain the scholarship, recipients are required to maintain ongoing residency at one of these campuses.
