Effective January 21, 2026, Monash University accepts the new 1-6 score scale version of TOEFL iBT results and has released the corresponding English proficiency requirements.
For applicants providing both the new and old versions of TOEFL scores, the university will use the higher result for assessment.
2. Taylors College Sydney (USFP)
Foundation English Requirement Adjustments:
Starting March 6, 2026, there are adjustments to the English sub-score requirements for University of Sydney Foundation Programs (USFP).
These changes apply to intakes starting in July 2026 and beyond.
3. UNSW College
2027 Applications Now Open:
Diploma Programs: Intake schedules have been adjusted; however, Diploma in Business applications remain temporarily closed.
New Term 4: A new intake has been added for August 2027 to align with UNSW Sydney’s transition to a Semester system in 2028 (total course duration remains unchanged).
Academic English: Scheduling is currently under review and will be announced soon.
Bachelor of Aviation Admission Changes:
Beginning with the 2027 intake, students applying via a Foundation package will no longer require an interview. This has been replaced by an online aptitude test.

ELICOS Reminder: The application deadline for the 10-week language course (commencing May 4) is March 20.
New Program Launch: Applications are now open for the Bachelor of Business Information Systems (including Honours), starting Semester 1, 2027.
Offer Acceptance Deadlines:
Offshore Students: June 30, 2026 (for S2 2026) | January 15, 2027 (for S1 2027).
Onshore Students: July 10, 2026 (for S2 2026) | January 31, 2027 (for S1 2027).

Higher English Requirements for Rapid Foundation:
Pathways to Social Work, Teaching, and Physiotherapy now require an IELTS 6.5 (with no sub-score below 6.5).

Program Adjustments:
The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) has been cancelled; however, the 3-year Bachelor of Psychology remains available for application.
