New Major Launched: The Bachelor of Business now includes a major in “AI and Business Innovation.”
This program integrates business strategy with innovation management. It focuses on using AI to optimize business processes and drive innovation rather than being a purely technical AI course.
Students have access to MQ’s Data Analytics research, DeepTech Incubator, and innovation resources for practical experience.
The compulsory PACE project (professional practice) ensures students gain real-world industry experience.
Flexible Admission Standards:
Students with a Gaokao score of 56% or higher can enter directly into the first year of undergraduate studies.
Students who do not meet direct entry requirements can bridge through the Macquarie University College (Diploma or Foundation programs) with guaranteed pathways to the main campus.
2. The University of Queensland (UQ)
Important Clarification on TOEFL iBT:
UQ only accepts the “TOEFL iBT Australia” exam with a score scale of 0–30 per section.
The new 1–6 score scale version of TOEFL iBT, TOEFL iBT Home Edition, and TOEFL ITP are not recognized.
3. UTS College
Cambridge International AS & A Level: The first cohort of students has commenced for 2026; 50% and 100% scholarships have returned.
Return of Pre-Master’s Programs: The accelerated Graduate Certificate courses will commence in Session 3, 2026.
Graduation Ceremony: The Class of 2025 ceremony is scheduled for May 4, 2026. Students and parents should pay attention to registration deadlines.

Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships: Applications will soon open for outstanding international undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework) students.

Fine Arts and Music Applications: Early applications for select courses opened today (March 2) and will close on May 18. Portfolios must be submitted via SlideRoom.
