1. Monash College: Late Enrollment Approved
Late arrival arrangements have been finalized for the following programs:
- Diploma & Foundation Programs: Must arrive on campus by the end of Week 2.
- Monash Advanced Preparatory Program (MAPP): Must arrive on campus by the end of Week 1.
- Monash English (ME): Must arrive on campus by the end of Week 2.
2. Australian National University (ANU)
2027 Applications Now Open
- Semester 1: Application deadline is Dec 15, 2026; Acceptance deadline for offshore students is Jan 15, 2027.
- Semester 2: Application deadline is May 15, 2027; Acceptance deadline for offshore students is June 30, 2027.
- Note: Crawford School of Public Policy has earlier deadlines.
New International Scholarships
- Available for intakes in late 2026 and 2027.
- Offers 20%–50% tuition fee waivers for a duration of 1 to 4 years.
3. Western Sydney University (WSU)
- Onshore Early Bird Discount: Onshore international students (excluding Bachelor of Nursing) who accept their offer and pay fees between Feb 9 and March 31, 2026, will receive a one-time AUD $3,000 tuition reduction (automatically applied).
- Conditional Offers: Current students can apply for Conditional Offers and COEs in advance.
4. UNSW College
2026 Intakes Now Open
- All Foundation, Pre-Master’s, and Academic English programs (including online UEEC10) are open for application.
- Diploma Programs: All streams are open except for the Diploma in Business, which remains temporarily closed.
5. University of Canberra (UC)
- Nursing English Proficiency: UC now accepts “superscoring” (combining results from two language tests taken within 12 months) for Bachelor/Master of Nursing and Midwifery. Each sitting must meet minimum sub-score requirements (e.g., IELTS overall 7.0 with no band below 6.5).
- Onshore Deadline Extension: The acceptance and payment deadline for Semester 1, 2026, has been extended to Feb 18 for onshore students (excluding Master of Teaching in Secondary/Primary).
6. University of Melbourne
- Late Arrival Policy: International students in the Faculty of Business and Economics, Law School, and Graduate School of Education must arrive by March 15. Classes start March 16 (excludes Juris Doctor/JD).
- 2027 Application Review: Assessment for 2027 intakes is expected to commence around June 2026.
7. Other Notable Updates
- La Trobe University: The Master of Occupational Therapy (2027) will only accept applicants with backgrounds in Health, Education, Social Science, Psychology, Biology, or Medicine. Short-term online courses are not recognized.
- Taylors College Sydney: From Feb 13, Academic English (AEP) can be packaged with more undergraduate degrees, including Architecture, Design, Economics, and Social Work.
- UTS College: Applications for 2027 Cambridge International AS and A-Level students are open, with scholarships ranging from 50% to 100%.
