🔹 UNSW Sydney – 2026 Admissions Updates
- UNSW introduced grouped offer rounds for high-demand programs and a “6 out of 8 semesters” assessment for postgraduate applications.
- Students need 5 WAM points above the advertised score to qualify under this new rule.
- Direct entry requirements for 2026 undergraduate programs have been updated.

🔹 University of Sydney – Taylors College GPA Requirements
- From Semester 2, 2026, updated progression GPA requirements:
- GPA 8.5 & English C+: Commerce, Engineering & dual degrees.
- GPA 7.4 & English C+: Oral Health and PPE programs.
🔹 University of Sydney – Gaokao & Special Admissions
- New Gaokao score requirements effective July 2024 now available.
- Several health science courses added to the exclusion list for special admissions in Semester 1, 2026:
- Diagnostic Radiography, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.
📌 Application & Visa Updates
🔹 ANU (Australian National University)
- Students must arrive by Week 3 of Semester 2 (varies by college).
- Late arrival due to visa delays is accepted, but students must start studying Week 1 onwards, even from offshore.
- ANU ranked #32 in QS 2026 World Rankings and remains 4th in Australia.
🔹 QUT – Semester 2, 2025
- Applications still open for onshore applicants.
- Deadline to apply: 7 July. Final acceptance date: 14 July.
- All programs open except NS42 Bachelor of Nursing.
🔹 UTS – Spring Intake 2025
- Onshore students may still apply case-by-case till 28 July.
- Application fee waiver for agents in Australia, NZ, Fiji, New Caledonia (1 Aug–31 Oct 2025).
- Students needing extensions for late arrival should email UTS.
🧾 Foundation & Diploma Programs
🔹 UNSW College – 2025 Foundation & Diploma Intake
- High demand has led to limited spots.
- Onshore deadlines:
- Diploma: Apply by 6 July, accept by 11 July
- Foundation: Apply by 27 July, accept by 1 August
- 2026 intakes remain open.
Scholarships & Entry Requirement Changes
🔹 Western Sydney University – $10K Multiyear Scholarships
- For PG students starting Sept 2025 (Q4)
- Must have minimum 75% GPA in bachelor’s degree.
- Eligible courses include MBA, Business Analytics, Marketing, Accounting, etc.
- Post-scholarship fee: $27,464/year
🔹 Monash University
- Future Leadership Scholarship: AUD 10,000 for Nov 2025 intake (undergrad & postgrad).
- Must be a Chinese national with a full offer.
- Not eligible: TNE students, sponsored students, CoE holders, etc.
- Applications via email with specific format and justification required.
- Course changes, Gaokao 2026 requirements, and Digital Course Guides now available online.
🇨🇳 China-Specific Entry Updates
🔹 University of Adelaide College (UoAC) – China Admission Changes
- From 2026, more flexible postgraduate pathway requirements for students with Chinese academic backgrounds.
- New criteria now recognize AQF qualifications, self-study exams, and relevant work experience.
🔹 Queensland EQI (International Student Program)
- New entry requirement standards effective from 14 July 2025.
- Old standards will be honoured only for complete applications submitted before 13 July 2025
