IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE STUDENT VISA APPLICATION PROCESS IN AUSTRALIA:
The following form aims to collect the necessary information to help you fulfill your dream of studying in Australia, as well as determine your profile and guide the visa application in the appropriate way.
1. Confidentiality: Please note that all information provided on this form is protected by the Privacy Act 1988 (Australia). This means that your data will be protected and used only for the aforementioned purpose.
2. Accuracy of information: It is essential that the information provided is legitimate and correct. If you are applying for a visa to Australia, you must meet Australia’s Public Interest Criterion 4020. Failure to do so could have consequences for both you and your visa application. These consequences may arise if:
- They have provided false or misleading information, or have omitted immigration details relevant to the decision of their case. Examples of these details include illegal stays, illegal entries into a country, canceled or denied visas, extraditions, deportations, among others.
- The Immigration Department is not satisfied with the identity information provided in your visa application.
If false information is detected during the process, your visa application could be rejected immediately. In some cases the Australian embassy could give them the opportunity to provide information not provided or required explanations. However, if your response is deemed unacceptable, your visa application will be rejected and you could be subject to a ban of up to 10 years from future visa applications in Australia.
