This bursary provides a <strong>20% tuition fee reduction<\/strong> for the <strong>English for Academic Purposes (EAP)<\/strong> English Language pathways program. It is available to students from specific regions and is aimed at supporting their academic transition to RMIT University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible Regions<\/strong><br \/>\nThe bursary is available to offshore students from the following regions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>China, Hong Kong SAR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>South-East Asia:<\/strong> Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia<\/li>\n<li><strong>North Asia:<\/strong> Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eligible Study Period:<\/strong> From <strong>4 July 2025<\/strong> to <strong>September 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><br \/>\nTo qualify for the bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Offshore Application:<\/strong> Must apply from outside Australia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Packaged Offer:<\/strong> Must have a package offer that includes ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students), RMIT Foundation Studies, and an RMIT award course.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eligible Citizenship:<\/strong> Must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries (listed above).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadlines<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Opening Date:<\/strong> Applications are <strong>open now<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Closing Date:<\/strong> Refer to RMIT&#8217;s admissions office or website for any specified intake deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Choose an Eligible Course:<\/strong><br \/>\nSelect a course at RMIT that can be packaged with an EAP and\/or Foundation Studies program.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Submit Your Application:<\/strong><br \/>\nApply to study at RMIT and indicate in the application form that you want to package your course with EAP and\/or Foundation Studies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>After Your Application:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>If successful, you will receive an offer letter outlining the bursary details.<\/li>\n<li>If you\u2019ve already accepted an offer, the bursary will be applied automatically to your English for Academic Purposes tuition fees and Foundation Studies.
